Brian Greenberg

Brian Greenberg is one of the most experienced M&A and strategic advisors to the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry. For nearly 15 years, he has specialized in advising ARM executives and investors regarding strategy and execution in mergers and acquisitions, raising capital, and business valuation. Mr. Greenberg’s clients and relationships span all aspects of the ARM sector and include contingency collection agencies, 1st and 3rd party specialists, debt purchasers, collection law firms and networks, call centers, business process outsourcing firms, technology firms and a variety of vendors to the industry, as well as strategic and financial investors to the industry. He and his teams have completed approximately 65 ARM transactions, creating value in excess of $1.5 billion, with clients such as Sallie Mae, West Corp., H.I.G. Capital, and GE Capital, as well as with numerous privately held ARM firms. Mr. Greenberg began his M&A career with Weaver Partners, where he focused on cross-border transactions for clients worldwide. He has gone on to lead the ARM M&A practices at Kaulkin Ginsberg (1996 to 2006) and at Milestone Advisors (2006 to 2009), and in early 2009, founded Greenberg Advisors. Mr. Greenberg received a B.B.A. from George Washington University, specializing in International Business and Marketing, and served four years in the United States Air Force as a German Linguist. He serves on the Advisory Boards of ARMing Heroes (www.armingheroes.org), Collections & Credit Risk, and on the boards of a variety of other industry organizations. He is a frequent presenter at conferences in the US and abroad and is a published author and often-quoted source in the industry and national media for his views and experience in ARM.
