Christophe is a partner in PwC's FSR practice (Financial Instruments, Structured Products, Real Estate) with close to 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Christophe is currently based in Atlanta, and leads the delivery of PwC�s Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST) services to mid-sized banks. Throughout his career, he has advised financial institutions with implementation solutions to complex challenges presented by regulatory and reporting change such as:-Accounting and financial reporting change (US GAAP and IFRS, SEC reporting, risk disclosures);-Regulatory change � Basel II/III, Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), and DFAST for mid-sized financial firms-Model risk management and model validation; and-Valuation and reporting of complex financial instruments.Examples of relevant client projects Christophe has led recently:-Advised US regional financial institutions with their end-to-end implementation of the DFAST requirements for their March 2014 submission, including the following elements: governance, capital management, risk management, model development, reporting, processes and internal controls, and project management.-Assisted two CCAR institutions with their January 2013 submissions with an emphasis on model validation, in response to regulatory feedback. This involved developing a model risk assessment framework, model validation procedures, and conducting model validation on credit, operational risk, PPNR, and CVA models.-Helped a global US banking institution with the preparation of their resolution plan, including the funding plan. -Assisted global banks based in Europe and Asia with their US GAAP and/or IFRS conversion and SEC reporting in the context of US-bound IPOs, M&A activity or regulatory change � this involved accounting advice on complex matters, but also advisory services on system implementation, process design, business and regulatory impact analysis, investor relations strategy, people change / training programs, and other aspects required to embed change within the organization.-Assisted several banks globally with the development of credit loss forecasting models for consumer and commercial loan portfolios for the purpose of the allowance for loan losses and Basel II.-Advised a large European banking institution with the implementation of their Basel II calculator and reporting solution, which involved developing an IT infrastructure, a data-warehouse, defining business requirements, tailoring the design of the calculator engine, and implementing the end-to-end solution.Christophe co-authored PwC's book on Basel III with a group of specialists from PwC's global network, and wrote a number of other thought-leadership pieces on stress testing and financial / risk reporting.Prior to joining PwC in 2002, Christophe spent 9 years with Arthur Andersen in the audit practice, focused on financial institutions.
