Head of Brand Strategy

Gary Korotzer was recently named Executive Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Wells Fargo.� In this role, his team is responsible for defining the company’s long term Marketing strategy and leading the development of transformational, customer-centric cross-enterprise Marketing strategies.� �His responsibilities include Brand and Customer Experience strategy, Segment Management, Sponsorships and Meetings & Events.Prior to this role, Gary was the Head of Marketing for the Consumer Credit Solutions (CCS) group at Wells Fargo. He oversaw acquisition and customer marketing for credit card, personal lines and loans, direct auto loans and student lending.� His team is responsible for driving all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, lead generation and distribution, digital customer experience, sales channel marketing segmentation strategy and consumer credit education.Gary has been at Wells Fargo for ten years. Prior to his current role, he served as head of marketing for the Wells Fargo Home Equity group. He joined Wells Fargo from Red Envelope, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. He has also held senior marketing roles at Charles Schwab, US West and American Express.He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business from Lewis and Clark College, in Portland, Oregon, and a master’s degree in business administration in marketing from New York University, in New York, New York.
