Peter Andrews is the Founder and CEO of Dreambuilder Investments, LLC (DBI). DBI is a New York based private mortgage investment company specializing in the nationwide acquisition, management and liquidation of defaulted residential mortgages. Assets under management consist primarily of defaulted second mortgages acquired at significant discounts. With an experienced team and customized technology approach, DBI focuses on liquidating assets with velocity to compound capital returns. Using its Acquisition Fund, DBI has become one of the largest buyers in the distressed residential 2nd lien market. Mr. Andrews fulfills multiple roles at DBI, most importantly setting the vision and direction for the Company. He plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations with particular emphasis on asset management and continued design and development of the systems, technology and proprietary analytics. Beginning his career in high-level technology sales, Mr. Andrews worked in Canon USAs Network Solutions Division. He then became National Sales Manager of Sky Systems, a Florida-based systems integration company. In 1999, Mr. Andrews returned to his native New York to head the Goldman Sachs Division at Akibia, Inc., a technology consulting firm. He was responsible for Akibias largest account, which represented 20 percent of the companys revenue. Under his leadership, the divisions income grew from $6 million to more than $20 million annually. During this time, Mr. Andrews began investing in real estate, eventually leaving Akibia to found Dreambuilder Investments and devote his energy full-time to growing the DBI business. Mr. Andrews attended Rutgers University, completing a five-year, dual-degree program in Mechanical Engineering and Economics in 1996. He is a member of Business Executives for National Security and, in 2005, was part of a delegation which toured Iraq, Afghanistan and U.S. Central Command in Qatar. He currently serves on the Leadership Board for LIFT, a non-profit organization which provides legal assistance to families in need. Additionally, Mr. Andrews is a founding member of the Starfish on the Move Foundation, a non-profit which supports children and their families through the difficult process of organ transplant procedures.
