Simon Hurry is a senior director at Visa Inc., responsible for global contactless and contact chip card programs and leading Visa�s chip rollout in the USA. Simon has over 20 years of experience in the payments industry with a specialized focus on smart card and contactless payments. Prior to joining Visa, Simon architected smart card clearing and settlement systems at Nedcor Bank in South Africa. He was an active member and vice chairman of the GlobalPlatform systems committee, and currently serves on the EMV Migration Forum steering committee and the board of the Smart Card Alliance.�Simon holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.
