Phone Voice Recording

Does anyone use any sort of automatic voice recording in their office. I am trying to find some company that provides phone convesation recording for all call made to and from the office and the calls will be save on the computer in a format similar to mp3. What would really be great is to have some sort of voice over ip (VoIP) service that inculded this. Have any of you ever heard of anything like this. Our office only has 8 people so we wouldnt need a very complex system.

Yes. It has been awhile since I looked at this software, I honestly can't even remember any of the companies, but I know what you want exist. About 5 years ago I purchased a system for a trading desk with 5 people. There was basically a seperate server that all the calls recorded to as an electronic file. Any computer could then retieve the calls. This was pre VoIP, I am guessing the options have improved. If you have a company that intalled your phone system, I would contact them and I am sure then either work with some vendors or know companies that do.

Hello Direct makes a product that can do this for around $90 for one line and also has the product the other individual Jim commented on. FYI Their web site is hellodirect.com and I do not work for this company.

The systems allow you to record the conversations to your pc and burn them to a cd or e-mail them. You cannot use it with a wireless phone system.
