The answers to these questions fall down to the one issue of what your true agenda is. Financial Services consumer sentiment isn't anything more than a reflection of the availability of information that didn't used to be there in the old days of smile and dial. Qualified consumers and Professionals are bombarded with agenda on a daily basis and have become immune to the pitch. Although the traditional strategy is to make as many contacts as possible, with the use of the internet and the do not call list, professionals must really look in the mirror first to decide where their true agenda is, then prove their "empathy" through actions rather than a slick scripted call.
