If building the skills, networks and businesses of women advisors sounds like it's worth your time, join us May 22 at the Women Advisors Forum in Dallas.

SourceMedia's showcase event series for women advisors will bring together speakers and panelists with expertise and experience to help female planners everywhere build the strength and value of their practices. Highlights will include social media and compliance strategies for the advanced beginner, as well as a presentation of the Kolbe Assessment processes.

The Kolbe process can help you identify which of your intuitive strengths are most helpful in growing your business. Learn how to develop and build on them, and how to find clients most likely to benefit from your approach. Forum participants are encouraged to take the Kolbe Assessment online in advance to derive the most value from the presentation.

When it comes to social media, many planners have dabbled in LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. But given the pressing questions about how to use these tools while remaining compliant, others have shied away from them. In Dallas, Amy McIlwain, the social media strategist who founded Financial Social Media, will show attendees how to get the most out of your social media toolbox without running afoul of compliance requirements.

On the same day, our speakers will help make sense of decumulation and how advisors must equip themselves with techniques and investment strategies to meet those shifting goals. New sources of yield will be paramount, and our speakers will explain where and how they are finding them.

In addition, our panel of multimillion-dollar women will tell you how they navigated through setbacks in their careers to get to where they are today. "The conference is all about empowering female financial advisors," says Frances McMorris, the forum's moderator and editor-in-chief of SourceMedia's OnWallStreet magazine.

In addition to the full-day event at the Marriott Dallas City Center, a Women Advisors Forum is planned for June 12 in Chicago.

Visit womenadvisorforum.ning.com for more information on the Dallas and Chicago events, and for the forums still being planned for Boston in October and Southern California in November.
