Best Sectors for Equities: 1YR Winners

Stocks have enjoyed a good run since last summer, with the total return for the S&P 500 up a healthy 10.4% and the broader Russell 3000 advancing 11.9%. But certain sectors have been on fire, with eye-popping gains of about 50%, according to Morningstar. Advisors who have positioned clients in those sectors should consider whether the party is coming to an end and potentially harvest some profits. After all, paper gains can often go up in smoke.
