Legg Mason Gets Active with New Products

Legg Mason has filed an application with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an exemption order for two equity and one fixed income offering via an ETF Trust.

Specifically, the trust will initially offer the Legg Mason Western Asset Ultra-Short Duration ETF,Legg Mason Capital Management Systematic Equity Fund and Legg Mason Equal-Weighted Equity Sector 3.

A spokesperson for the firm was not immediately available for comment on the filing.
