RBC Hires 3 Branch Directors

RBC Wealth Management has expanded its leadership ranks with three new branch directors in offices from Seattle to Tampa, Fla.

The Minneapolis-based firm promoted two existing financial advisors to branch director positions and added a former branch manager from Morgan Stanley to oversee its Austin office.

In Seattle, the firm promoted Shane Flock to branch director of its Edmonds branch office. Flock had been at RBC since 2009 and is a member of the Flock Group comprised of his father, Larry Flock; brother Tony Flock; and client associate, Mary Malencore.

Shane Flock has 15 years of industry experience having also worked for Merrill Lynch. At his new position, he will oversee five financial advisors and three branch employees and reports to Seattle complex director Michael Nielsen.

RBC tapped former Morgan Stanley branch manager Glen Hatch to lead its Austin branch. He had been a branch manager for Morgan Stanley’s Austin office for eight years and hails from Smith Barney. Hatch entered the industry in 1998 at Robinson Humphrey after 22 years in the United States Navy. He will now report to Dallas Complex director Andy Teller.

In Tampa, Fla., RBC promoted Michael Neff to branch director of that office, where he will oversee 10 financial advisors. Neff joined RBC Wealth Management in 2007 when his legacy firm, JB Hanauer, was acquired. He has 14 years of experience and will report to Palm Beach complex director Jim Jahnsen.

Neff replaces branch director Jeff Farrell who relocated to the St. Petersburg, Fla., branch.

RBC has around 2,000 advisors across 200 locations in 42 states.
