UBS has been making headlines recently for recruiting talent, but last week the opposite happened, as Smith Barney won over a $2 million production team from the Swiss bank.
F. Otto Busot and Aldo C. Busot, each with 29 years of experience were recruited to Smith Barney’s branch in Coral Gables, Fla. The Busots had T-12 production of more than $2 million on assets of about $200 million. The team was hired on Feb. 13, and reports to branch manager Mark Feiler.
