Advisors With $520M Combined AUM Land at Ameriprise

Ameriprise lured away eight advisors with more than $520M in client assets combined, according to the firm.

Six of the eight advisors recently landed at Ameriprise offices along the East Coast, while two joined the firm's office in Oregon.

Chris Plechy jumped from Stifel to the regional’s employee channel and is based in Florham Park, N.J. He managed about $141 million in client asset management while at Stifel, according to Ameriprise. Plechy reports to Josh Marchal, an associate manager at the firm.

John Yetman and Adam Goddard also joined the employee side of Ameriprise from Morgan Stanley, where they oversaw more than $95 million in AUM, the regional brokerage said.  Both have more than three decades of experience, according to FINRA BrokerCheck, and are based in Bethesda, Md. Yetman and Goddard report to branch manager Richard Zsakany.

Jason Doneth and William Hill, who switched over from LPL to the independent channel at Ameriprise, are based in Kelzer, Ore. Both managed more than $145 million in client assets while at LPL, according to Ameriprise. Doneth is the lead advisor between the two. Both report to field vice-president George Varones.

Also joining the independent side at Ameriprise are David Dominici, Ray Nowak and Jacqueline Zapicchi, who came over from brokerage Signator Investors. They oversaw about $141 million before making the move. All three are based in Hamilton Square, N.J., and are working under field vice-president Tom North.
