Ameriprise Financial has snapped up two teams for its independent channel and two advisors for a branch in New Jersey.
Lachlan, Fiona and Donald Cameron have joined Ameriprise’s independent advisor network, with a $311 million AUM practice. They are based in Pasadena, Calif. Robert Norvell also joined Ameriprise’s independent network. Norvell’s $121 million AUM practice is based in Tulsa, OK. Ameriprise has about 7,800 advisors in its independent channel.
The firm also added to its 2,000-advisor employee channel. Barry Hess, with $68 million, joined from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and Robert Adler, with $64 million in AUM, joined from Oppenheimer. Both joined Ameriprise’s branch in Saddlebrook, N.J.
