BNY Mellon Wealth Management has added company veteran Gregory Simpson to its growing team of advisors to ultra high-net-worth families and family offices, the wealth manager announced today. Simpson will join the team as a family wealth advisor effective March 1, reporting to Ridgway Powell, who late last year was promoted to lead the team.

Simpson was most recently a portfolio management team leader at BNY Mellon and has 20 years of experience in financial services, the firm said.  He joined BNY Mellon in 1999.

Simpson’s appointment is the latest in a string of promotions and new hires to strengthen the firm’s team of wealth advisors to ultra high-net-worth clients. Since Powell’s promotion in November, six advisors, including Simpson, have been added to the team.
