Bond Fund Inflows Top $8B

Total estimated inflows to long-term mutual funds were $6.12 billion for the week ended Wednesday, September 12, according to data from the Investment Company Institute.

Bond funds had estimated inflows of $8.11 billion, compared to estimated inflows of $5.28 billion during the previous week.

Hybrid funds also saw estimated inflows of $1.31 billion for the week, compared to estimated inflows of $910 million in the previous week.

Equity funds continued to see outflows of $3.30 billion for the week, compared to estimated outflows of $3.09 billion in the previous week. Domestic equity funds had estimated outflows of $2.75 billion, while estimated outflows from world equity funds were $548 million.
