Broadridge Appoints Two Leaders to Executive Ranks

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., has named two new leaders to its executive ranks in a bid to help accelerate growth and transform the way the company serves banks, broker-dealers and other clients. The New York-based technology services company promoted Tim Gokey to chief operating officer and hired Stephen Racioppo, a former executive at Accenture, as its chief revenue officer.

“Our clients are going through a time of tremendous change and they are increasingly looking to Broadridge to help them transform their operations,” Broadridge CEO Richard J. Daly said in a statement.

As chief operating officer, Gokey will lead Broadridge’e Securities Processing Solutions business, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.  He previously served as the company’s corporate senior vice president and chief corporate development officer. Broadridge credits Gokey for helping to create a more systematic approach to acquisitions and intensifying the company’s sales efforts on emerging and acquired products, which contributed to increasing sales in this sector by 80%.  He also played a key role in building and transforming the company’s marketing and sales capabilities, Broadridge said.

Prior to joining Broadridge more than two years ago, Gokey was the president of H&R Block’s Retail Tax Services, where he was responsible for $3.7 billion in revenue and over $900 million in pre-tax profit.

As chief revenue officer, Racioppo will work closely with Peter Benzie, Broadridge’s chief sales officer, who will continue to lead the sales and market organizations until Benzie’s planned transition in January 2013, Broadridge said in a statement.

Prior to joining Broadridge, Racioppo was a senior managing director at Accenture where he led the financial services consulting, technology and outsourcing businesses in North America and Asia Pacific. He has 30 years of financial services and executive leadership experience, according to Broadridge.

Broadridge provides investor communications and technology services to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds and corporate issuers.
