Broadridge Names Certoma Brokerage President

Broadridge Financial Solutions has promoted Susan Certoma from chief operating officer to president of its brokerage processing services (BPS).

In her new role, Certoma is responsible for equity, options and mutual fund securities processing, as well as its business process management suite and distributed data product.

“Susan’s broad business and technology background has proven highly effective in further strengthening and enhancing our client relationships, product offerings and strategic technology plans over the past year,” said Charlie Marchesani, president of securities processing solutions at Broadridge. “She has consistently demonstrated the leadership and client-centric qualities that will enable us to grow our business.”

Certoma has been with Broadridge since July 2009, having previously served as chief information officer of Wachovia’s corporate and investment bank. She previously held technology and operations positions with Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Ernst & Young, First Boston and Royal Bank of Canada.
