Capital Investment Adds Six Financial Advisors

Capital Investment Cos., a Raleigh, N.C., based independent financial services and brokerage firm, has hired six financial advisor.

The company hired Charles Pendergraft, John Zachary Carnes, Cort Meinelschmidt, Chelsea Miller, J. Marshall Culp 3d, and James Beam.

Pendergraft is president of The Pendergraft Group Planning and Asset Management, which has offices in Charlotte and Hickory, N.C. He most recently worked for Merrill Lynch.

Carnes is based in Kennesaw, Ga., He most recently worked for HD Vest Investment Services.

Meinelschmidt is with Sentinel Capital Solutions in Hagerstown, Md., a registered investment advisory firm he launched in 2011. Previously, he worked at WFG Investments and LPL Financial.

Miller works with Meinelschmidt at Sentinel Capital Solutions. She most recently affiliated with WFG Investments.

Culp is registered with Capital Investment Group and is based in Raleigh, NC. Most recently, he was a registered rep with H. Beck Inc.

Beam is registered with Capital Investment Group, Inc and will work at the Charter Financial Group office in Hickory, N.C. He was most recently with Allstate Financial Services.
