BNY Mellon Wealth Management Ramps Up Sales Efforts in Pittsburgh

BNY Mellon Wealth Management is bolstering its sales force in Pittsburgh.

The firm hired another wealth director for business development, the second such director it hired in Pittsburgh this year. Gary Cindrich, a former entrepreneur, will be responsible for drumming up business in the Pittsburgh area, BNY Mellon announced on Wednesday.

Cindrich was previously partner and senior vice president of sales at Virtual Officeware, a medical software company he founded and ultimately sold. Prior to that, he was director of medical software sales with Delta Computing Solutions, where he managed the firm's sales force and enhanced business development relationships with strategic partners.

BNY Mellon expects to hire two additional wealth directors in Pittsburgh by the end of the year, the firm said.

Cindrinch's hire is part of the firm's campaign to increase its sales teams in key wealth markets. BNY Mellon has hired about 20 wealth directors nationwide so far this year, adding to the more than 20 it hired last year, the firm said.
