Morgan Stanley Exec Moves to Deutsche AWM

Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management hired a Morgan Stanley executive as its newest branch manager.

Robert Quick will manage the bank’s high-net-worth unit in Winston-Salem, N.C. The unit is one of the oldest wealth management offices in the region, according to the firm. It is currently served by 18 advisors, who cover North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and Southern Virginia.

At Morgan, Quick helped clients with endowments, retirement plans, trust assets and private clients. He had been with the wirehouse since 2008, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. Quick also worked for Citigroup in 2007 from the firm's Asheville branch, also in North Carolina.

Deutsche also has been expanding on the West Coast, Texas and in South Florida. The firm recently hired ex-J.P. Morgan private banker Oti Roberts to head its Miami branch, which serves ultrahigh-net-worth clients as well.

The company also has hired recruits in key markets, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago throughout past year.
