Would the editors of this magazine please take a stand on the purpose of financial planning -- to provide excellent, individualized plans for clients that utiize appropriate products after developing an understanding of the client's unique circumstances and needs.

Please stop using any headline you can devise in the hope of getting the article read when the last paragraph of the article again affirms that every client is different and every financial program is different.

The headline should have said "Author likes variable annuities with guaranteed minimum withdrawal benefits more than lifetime annuitization."
and saved me the time of reading the whole thing.
