Dow Posts Modest Gains Despite Recession Concerns

Investors regained their composure to kick off the trading week as the Dow Jones Industrial average moved up 37 points to close at 10,854.65.

The Nasdaq composite inched up 3.54 points to finish at 2,345.38 while the S&P 500 barely moved, closing up 0.29 points to 1,123.82.
