Fidelity Investments Seeks Analyst

Fidelity Investments is looking to hire a senior investment analyst within its Asset Allocation Division (AAD), an arm that “engineers and manages” more than $230 billion in assets.

According to the Boston-based financial services firm’s Thursday posting, job duties include the “creation and development of investment commentary that supports the investment story across the [Division],” as well as working closely with “the investment staff [of the Investment and Portfolio Analysis Group] to produce best-in-class materials to communicate our market perspectives, processes, investment activities and thought leadership.”

Ideal candidates should also be “the expert on the covered asset classes, funds, peer groups for all the products and investment staff,” the announcement states.

Currently, the AAD provides investment management services through Fidelity’s retail and institutional distribution channels, and actively researches the firm’s over 2,300 Fidelity and non-Fidelity funds. As of June 30, Fidelity Investments had more than $1.4 trillion in assets under management and roughly $3.1 trillion in assets under administration.
