$156M Advisor Leaves Morgan Stanley for FiNet

A former Morgan Stanley advisor who oversaw more than $156 million in client assets has joined the independent side of Wells Fargo, a spokeswoman said.

Wendy Bennett moved from the wirehouse to the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, opening an independent practice in Butler, Pa., according to the spokeswoman. 

The new practice will operate under the name Bennett Associates Wealth Management.

Bennett, who began her career in 1998 with PFS Investments, also worked for Citigroup before landing at Morgan in 2009, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. 

FiNet also recently added six advisors with $327 million in client assets. 

Former Janney Montgomery Scott advisors Steve Marchel, Tracy Santoro and Dan Campbell brought a combined $168 million in AUM to the team's newly opened independent practice with FiNet in Margate City, N.J., the firm says.
