Raymond James Hires $110M Wirehouse Team

Raymond James recruited a Morgan Stanley team that managed $110 million in client assets, according to the firm.

Advisors Kristy McGee and Jennifer Dayoub joined Raymond James' employee channel in El Paso, Texas.

While at Morgan, they generated almost $1 million in annual revenue, according to Raymond James. The team made the move in January. McGee said in a statement that they switched firms in part due to Raymond James' technology and platform.

"After we visited the home office, we realized the culture of the firm was conducive to the way we run our practice," she adds.

McGee began her career at Morgan in 2001, according to FINRA BrokerCheck records. Dayoub started as an advisor at the wirehouse in 2009.

Sales associate Rocio Silva also moved with the team.

A spokeswoman for Morgan Stanley confirmed the team's departure but declined to comment further.
