Investors Dump Shares On Fed Angst

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 115.30 points Thursday to close at 13,057.46 while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 lost 20.27 points and 11.41 points, respectively.

Investors were encouraged Wednesday after the FOMC minutes indicated the Fed would consider another round of quantitative easing if the economy continued to struggle.

But those hopes were dashed by St. Louis Fed President James Bullard told CNBC that current economic conditions were "not weak enough" to justify the Fed's intervention.
