In its continued push for another year of growth, JHS Capital advisors has expanded its Pacific Northwest presence.

The Tampa-based broker dealer and RIA, announced Monday it hired Mark E. Palsson as a financial advisor and vice president of investments at the firm’s office in Bellevue, Wash.

Palsson is the second Financial Advisor to join a JHS branch in the Pacific Northwest during the past month as part of JHS’s ongoing national expansion. Allison Hana, a Ladies Professional Golf Association professional, recently started as a financial advisor at the JHS office in Portland, Ore.

Prior to joining JHS, Palsson was a financial advisor at Smith Barney (now part of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management) for more than five years. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of accounting, finance, and managerial positions at Weyeerhaeuser Co. for over 25 years.

“JHS continues to strategically add dynamic advisors throughout the country who share our commitment to clients and our core values of integrity, transparency and full disclosure,” says Frank McPartland, chief operating officer at JHS. “As an advisor who utilizes his extensive financial background to position his clients on their individual paths to financial success, Mark is an ideal fit for our firm.”
