John Hancock Financial Network has launched a turnkey retirement income program for financial advisors that includes a web-based product allocation analysis tool, multi-media educational and sales materials and dedicated support.

“Research shows that the most trusted advisors are those who are now helping clients plan the decumulation stage of retirement,” said Brian Heapps, interim president of John Hancock Financial Network. “We worked with some of the best in the business to develop a comprehensive program to help ensure our financial professionals and in the best possible position with the most advanced tools to help guide their clients.”

Most notably, added Bruce Harrington, head of retirement sales and strategy at John Hancock, the program extends beyond traditional asset allocation to include products that offer guaranteed streams of income. John Hancock is calling this a “product allocation strategy.” The tools are currently in the process of being reviewed by FINRA.

To support the new program, John Hancock has hired a dedicated team, including Director Greg Melton and Retirement Income Sales Consultant Danny Francisco.
