The Global Opportunities Fund will invest in 100 to 150 stocks of small and micro-cap companies in the U.S. and around the world, including emerging markets—but the portfolio managers will adjust their holdings to cover areas of the globe they see the greatest growth.
The International Opportunities Fund will also invest in 100 to 150 stocks of small and micro-cap companies, but only those outside of the U.S.
“In a world where business is increasingly global and country boundaries continue to blur, we believe the best long-term investment opportunities can be uncovered by investors who are fully canvassing the world to find and consider each company within its global context,” Gardiner said. Grandeur Peak will conduct “hands-on,” bottom-up research, including close valuation analysis, to find “interesting companies in every part of the world,” he added.
