Wells Fargo Advisors has promoted David Kowach to serve as president of the firms Private Client Group.
The appointment gives Kowach the helm of a business division providing services through the firms 11,000 financial advisors. He comes to that position after most recently serving as head of the Wells Fargos Business Development Group, where he oversaw strategies aimed at boosting the recruitment, retention and productivity of the firms advisor force. In that role, he also focused on ways to increase growth and national sales.

Kowach will report to Wells Fargo Advisors President and CEO Danny Ludeman in his new role.
