The Women Advisors Forum, an online social network for female financial advisors, ushered in its 1000th member when Jennifer Riek joined the community Monday.
Launched in 2011,
Riek, a financial advisor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst at Marcum Financial Services is affiliated to the broker-dealer Raymond James.
She has more than 10 years experience working in the financial and insurance industries and focuses on financial planning, business development and client relationships.
I look to broaden my skills, gain exposure and support in term of literature, webinars and mentoring, she said.
Womens Advisors Forum is offering Riek free registration to any WAF conference in 2013 on her being the 1000th member.

We strive to create a community atmosphere at our events where women can network and share their professional experiences, said Lorie Konish, who serves as community editor of the social network. The Women Advisors Forum website is designed to extend that experience for our event attendees, and to continue to build a network with even more women advisors.
Riek said that she was drawn to the Womens Advisor Forum site because she saw it as great way to brainstorm ideas and to discover new ways to manage her business. As a divorce financial analyst, Riek has had predominantly a female clientele and believes the Women Advisor Forum community will provide information from trusted peers that she can put to use to expand her services.
