Baird and McAdams Wright Ragen to Combine Offices

Baird and McAdams Wright Ragen will combine offices in Portland, Ore., following Baird's recent acquisition of the Seattle-based broker-dealer.

The move will occur before the end of the year, to a site that has not yet been determined, according to a statement. While the firm consolidates space, Baird and McAdams said it is still on track to grow its business in Oregon. The new office will include 20 financial advisors.

Rob Shick, current leader of McAdams Wright Ragen's Portland office, will take charge as branch manager. He will take on a dual role -- managing the office and serving clients as a financial advisor.

Shick has been in the securities industry for almost thirty years. He became founding branch manager of McAdams Wright Ragen's Portland branch in 2005. Previously, he worked at Wells Fargo.

McAdams Wright Ragen and Milwaukee-based Baird announced the merger on April 9 and closed the deal on July 1.
