Hightower has expanded its advisory force in Maryland by bringing on former wirehouse advisors Matt Moore and Stephen Rosen as managing directors.
Continuing to expand our teams, with additions of independence-seeking advisors similar to those we have made in Baltimore and Bethesda, is one of the key goals of HighTowers strategic growth plan for the coming year, Mike Papedis, Executive Vice President of Business Development at HighTower said in a statement.
An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Moore was formerly a vice president of investments at Merrill Lynch and manages $250 million in assets. He had been at Merrill Lynch for the whole of his career, according to public records with the financial industry regulatory authority, and joined HighTowers Kelly Wealth Management division in Baltimore, Maryland.
Matt and I are dedicated to reigniting Baltimores culture and tradition as a home to boutique wealth management, Leo J. Kelly III, a managing director and partner at HighTowers Kelly Wealth Management, said. We are equally committed to growing our practice by bringing on partners with impeccable reputations and the highest degree of integrity.
Rosen, who has 18 years of experience, had been at UBS for 15 years and will oversee $140 million in assets as managing director and partner at Hightower Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland.
Hightower is an advisor-owned financial services firm based out of Chicago and currently has 34 teams totaling 79 advisors.
