Raymond James Adds Six Veteran Advisors

Raymond James & Associates (RJA) announced Tuesday the addition of six veteran financial advisors.

The new RJA advisors represent a combined $308 million in client assets under management and join Raymond James branches in Portland, Ore., St. Louis and Dallas.

“We are pleased to continue our strong pace of attracting outstanding, experienced advisors to the firm,” said Tash Elwyn, president of RJA's Private Client Group. “Each of these professionals has demonstrated a deep commitment to caring for his or her clients and, therefore, places great value on our advisor-focused, client-first culture - which is the hallmark of Raymond James."

Joining RJA's Portland, Ore. branch is the team of Saunders Kelly Acheson Wealth Management, who were previously at Morgan Stanley. The team includes Jason Saunders, vice president,  investments, Stephanie E. Kelly, associate vice president, investments and Kendall Acheson, financial advisor.

The St. Louis RJA branch adds Alan Spilker as senior vice president, investments, who arrives from Merrill Lynch. He specializes in middle-market fixed income business.

Additions to RJA's Sherry Lane office in Dallas include Anthony Vaccaro Jr. and Bill Callis, both vice presidents, investments as well as financial advisor Matt Ferrell. The team, who all came from Southwest Securities, operates as  the Advanced Planning Group of Raymond James.
