Raymond James Hires 2 UBS Advisors with $250M in Assets

Raymond James has added two advisors who managed over $250 million in client assets at UBS and earned more than $1.5 million in annual fees and commissions.

Michael Brannam and Patrick Brannam will join the firm’s Jacksonville, Fla., branch, where they will be equal partners of Brannan Wealth Management of Raymond James.

Also joining the Brannams are financial consultant Matthew Watson, and sales assistant Brenda Holtzinger.

“We spent three years doing due diligence and research before deciding on a firm,” Michael Brannam, senior vice president of Investments said in a statement. “Raymond James was the best match for our needs. The firm has a reputation for providing excellent research and leading advisor technology, but more important, it reflects our personal philosophy of truly putting the client first. The back office and management here in Jacksonville have offered tremendous support to us during our transition, making us that much more confident that we made the right decision.”

Michael brings to the firm 45 years of experience in industry. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a branch manager of the Jacksonville office of UBS, which he opened in 1980 when the firm was PaineWebber.

Patrick joins the firm following 11 years at UBS. Prior to that, he was a senior management consultant at Deloitte & Touche for three years, and supervisor with GATX Logistics for three years.

The Brannams specializes in retirement, but also offers various services to their clients, including asset management, financial planning, estate planning and liability management.
