Raymond James Hires Four-Member Baird Team

Raymond James & Associates has hired a four-member financial advisor team that was previously producing more than $3.6 million in annual fees and commissions at Robert W. Baird & Co.

The team includes Matthew A. Glatz, Kevin Sletten, Adam Hawks and Keith Yoder. They are now based at Raymond James in Peoria, Ill., and have been registered with the firm since August 19, according to records from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Together, they previously oversaw $369 million in client assets at Baird.

The team now operates under the name Hilltop Wealth Management at Raymond James, targeting clients including business owners, corporate executives, families, institutional clients and physicians.

“We joined Raymond James because the firm offers the combination of the culture of independence, integrity and empowerment we were accustomed to, but with the scale of resources, technology and support of a much larger firm,” Glatz said in a prepared statement.

Glatz, who started his career at Baird in Peoria, Ill. in 1997, is the team’s founder. Sletten has been with the team since 2005, following an eight-year career in the pharmaceutical industry. Hawks joined the team in 2006 after running the Peoria, Ill. office of GCG Financial Services. Yoder has been with the team since 2009, after most recently spending nine years in investment management roles at Caterpillar Inc.
