RBC Grabs Former Merrill Team

Bolstering its ranks in California, RBC Wealth Management has recruited a team from Merrill Lynch with more than $250 million in assets under management to its La Jolla branch.

The two-advisor team known as the Robinson Reuter Group -- made up of senior vice president Scott Robinson who is a 25-year industry veteran; first vice president Christian Reuter with nine years of experience and their senior registered assistant Jeanette Cameron -- have approximately $1.4 million in production.

Larry Andrews, Director of RBC's La Jolla branch said in a release about the Robinson Reuter Group: "Their expertise and experience, combined with their history of providing superior client service, make them great additions to the firm."

"We had a couple in Newport Beach and now in La Jolla," says firm spokesperson, Jonell Lundquist in a telephone interview. But she said that is not specific push in California. "Not there more than anywhere else," she said. The firm is "busy recruiting top advisors" throughout the country, she said.
