$650M Barclays Team Joins Wells

A $650 million team left Barclays for Wells Fargo.

Michael Blaustein and Maureen Clancy joined Wells in New York as managing directors for investments, the firm said. Both are working from the Madison Avenue branch as the Blaustein Clancy Financial Group of Wells Fargo.

The team focuses on high- and ultrahigh-net-worth clients, offering personalized strategies for managing investments and wealth preservation, the firm said.

“Michael and Maureen are the quintessential full-balance-sheet advisors, with the experience, expertise and commitment to clients that’s valued at Wells Fargo Advisors,” said branch manager Anthony Arico. “We are proud and delighted to welcome them to the firm.”

Blaustein, according to FINRA's BrokerCheck, worked at Barclays since October 2009. His career goes back nearly three decades, when he got his start with Credit Suisse First Boston in 1988, according to FINRA records.

Clancy had been with Barclays since March 2009, after having worked for MBSC Securities and BNY Mellon.
