$900K Producer Leaves Edward Jones to Join Raymond James

An advisor producing about $900,000 in revenue left Edward Jones for Raymond James Financial Services, the firm's independent broker-dealer.

Danielle Blunt, who managed more than $114 million in client assets while at Edward Jones, joined Raymond James in Brea, Calif. Also moving with Blunt are branch assistants Veronica Ortiz and Meredith Gauck. The team operates as Blunt Wealth Services.

Blunt started her financial services career in 2000 when she joined Edward Jones, according to FINRA records.

Blunt said that she was attracted to Raymond James' resources, platform and technology. She also cited the firm's network for women advisors as an additional reason to make the move.

"After attending their annual Women’s Symposium, I came away knowing how committed the firm was to its women advisors and helping them grow and develop so as to be successful in their careers. In my practice, I have a particular affinity for helping women executives, widows and divorcees manage their wealth, so knowing the network had been in existence for 20 years gave me a lot of confidence in pursuing my niche as an advisor with Raymond James," she said in a statement.

Raymond James's independent channel has more than 3,200 advisors. Across all channels, the firm has more than 6,200 advisors and approximately $486 billion in client assets.
