A wife-and-husband advisor team has left Wells Fargo Advisors to join regional firm Janney Montgomery Scott.
Advisors Sandra and Joseph A. Bell joined Janney's office Marietta, Ohio, where they will report to branch manager William Howell.
Sandra Bell is an industry veteran, having started her career with Bache Halsey Stuart Shields in 1981, according to FINRA records. That firm was shortly thereafter acquired by Prudential Securities. Her husband Joseph started his career in Prudential in 1994. The Bells stayed through mergers with Wachovia and Wells Fargo.
While at Wells Fargo, Sandra Bell was an associate manager.
Jim Dornan, western regional manager at Janney, said in a statement that the addition of seasoned advisors will help the firm grow in a key market.
Philadelphia-based Janney recently recruited an advisor team from J.P. Morgan in South Kingstown, R.I. The regional firm employs more than 700 advisors.
