Regions Banks wealth management business is building out its insurance services in the Southeast, the bank announced Friday.
Regions Insurance, one of four divisions that make up Regions Wealth Management Group, bolstered is employee benefits practice in Nashville, Tenn., with the addition of the owner and two associates of The Hanback Group, an independent employee benefits insurance brokerage and human resources consulting firm.
Our expansion in Nashville and across Tennessee is a top priority for Regions Insurance, Mark Forrester, CEO of Regions Insurance Tennessee, said in a statement.
The new hires follow a series of investments the division has made over the last year to improve its coverage and capabilities in the Southeast. In July, Regions Insurance opened
Ben Hanback, the former owner and founder of The Hanback Group, joined the Nashville office of Regions Insurance with his associates Barb Shaffer and Jennifer Spice. He will lead the employee benefits practice in that market, the bank said.
