Compliance: Broker Dissatisfaction and Divorce Can Cause Severe Legal Headaches

Im a branch manager for a medium-sized brokerage firm. I recently learned that several reps in my office who have not resigned yet have executed Letters of Intent with a new broker-dealer to move client accounts. I plan on terminating them but Id like to warn them about the consequences of selling away if they try to take these accounts.
