EP Wealth Advisors, a Los Angeles-based financial planning and investment management firm, has named Patrick Goshtigian as president.

Goshtigian takes the helm as the firm continues an expansion that began in 2005, via core operations and acquisitions. The firm had grown fourfold, and managing partners Brian Parker and Derek Holman sought out Goshtigian for his prior experience as managing director and head of Nuveen Global Operations.

“We are thrilled to have Patrick join us,” said Derek Holman, CFP, managing director of EP Wealth Advisors, which oversees $1.1 billion in AUM. “He will utilize his extensive management and industry experience to streamline operations, institutionalize the business and enhance the client experience.”

Donna Mitchell writes for Financial Planning.
