Clients of RidgeWorth Investments will now be able to access a variety of functions and data from their investment accounts thanks to a new application available for the iPad.
The application, which can be accessed free from the iPad App Store, will allow users to generate customizable views of performance data for RidgeWorth investment products, create folders for frequently accessed information, as well as email content directly from the application. Users will also receive new contently instantly as well as stream podcasts.
The tool is geared for a variety of demographics, including wealth and retirement advisors, as well as institutional investors.
"The RidgeWorth iPad app is a continuation of our efforts to provide investment professionals with relevant and valuable information, in a format and at a time that makes the most sense for them," stated David Craig, RidgeWorth's Director of Marketing. "As investment professionals increasingly adopt mobile technologies, we want to be seen as a firm that can meet these professionals where they are."
Mobile apps have become the latest competitive customer service battleground for fund managers this year, with Fidelity Investments, VALIC, American Family and BNY Mellon all launching such services since the beginning of this year.
RidgeWorth Investments is a holding company that owns interests in six investment boutiques with nearly $46.6 billion assets under management as of December 31.
