Securities America Expands Recruiting Team

Independent broker-dealer Securities America is pressing ahead with its aggressive recruitment campaign, hiring three regional directors to help attract prospective independent advisors, the firm announced Tuesday.

As part of its branch office development recruiting team, the trio of Marc Beekman,Troy Reeder and Steve Dripchak will drive Securities America’s recruitment efforts in the Northeast, Northwest and Washington, D.C.,

“We are pleased to welcome three new recruiters with extensive securities industry experience to the Securities America team,” John Behn, Securities America’s national director of branch office development, said in a statement. “All three are local to their sales territory, providing just-in-time personal access to prospective advisors, which will be key to the ongoing growth of the company.”

As a regional director, Beekman, 33, will cover Washington, D.C., and the New England area. Prior to joining Securities America, he served as a personal investment officer at BBVA Compass Bancshares Inc. following stints as a wholesaler for Jackson National Life Insurance Company and Transamerica.

Based in Denver, Reeder, 38, will direct the firm’s recruiting in the Northwest. Most recently he worked in business development for the Tucker Advisory Group as a wholesaler of index annuities.

Dripchak, 52, will serve as senior regional director in New York, New Jersey and the larger Northeast territory. Before joining Securities America, he was a vice president at COR Clearing LLC and prior to that held various senior sales positions, including vice president of relationship management at National Financial Services.
