Stifel Adds Morgan Stanley Vet

Stifel has expanded its ranks in Garden City, N.Y., with a former Morgan Stanley advisor who oversaw $374 million in assets.

Bruce Gould, who has 42 years of industry experience, joins Stifel as senior vice president/investments.

Gould began his career in 1970, joined Drexel Burnham in 1972 and stayed with the firm through a series of mergers, which led him to Citigroup in 1989.

“He brings a wealth of experience, and his decision to come to Stifel is a testament to the entrepreneurial culture we’ve worked hard to build here,” Robert Codignotto, the branch manager for the Garden City office, said.

Stifel, which is headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., had 2,063 advisors as of the end of March. Earlier this month, the firm added two UBS advisors in Florida.
