Stocks Rally on Jobs Report, Greece Resolution

The Dow Jones Industrial Average tacked on another 14 points to finish at 12,922.02 Friday following a better-than-expected government jobs report and word that Greece completed its debt restructuring negotiations to avoid an immediate default.

Tech stocks continued their recent strong run, pushing the Nasdaq up 17.92 points while the S&P 500 added 4.96 points.

The Labor Department reported another 227,000 jobs were added in February and the nation’s unemployment rate remained unchanged at 8.3%. Economists on average were expecting about 210,000 new jobs to be created last month.
