Van Eck Looks For ETF Chemistry

Van Eck Global is stirring up another exchange-traded fund in the form of the Market Vectors Global Chemicals ET, which will bet on U.S. and non-U.S. chemical concerns.

According to a Securities & Exchange Commission filing, the fund is benchmarked to the Vectors Global Chemicals Index, which included 158 securities of companies with an average market capitalization of $7.8 billion, as of February 3.

Hao-Hung (Peter) Liao and George Cao are the portfolio managers of the new offering. Fees for the new fund were not disclosed in the filing.
