Jeff Wolk, together with registered sales assistant Lillian Marini, has formed the Wolk Group of Raymond James.
“I was attracted to the firm because of the cultural fit and alignment with my own values of putting clients’ interests first,” Wolk said in a statement. “The larger the national firms become, the greater the distance between the advisors and their clients…Joining Raymond James has felt like coming back home to me.”
Wolk previously oversaw more than $148 million in client assets at Morgan Stanley and had $860,000 in annual fees and commissions. He also previously served at Legg Mason, where he co-founded the Rochester, N.Y., branch in 1994, and Prudential-Bache Securities, where he started his career as a financial advisor. Wolk focuses on corporate retirement plans, family wealth transfer, retirement income and wealth accumulation.
Marini previously spent seven years at Morgan Stanley, and 15 years before that at Fleet Boston Financial, where she was an operations manager and project lead analyst in the investment operations division.
The Wolk Group is located in Rochester, N.Y.
